Windows Vista (Longhorn)

Windows Vista is Microsoft's next version of its Windows operating system, designed to follow Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. It was previously known by the codename Longhorn (for a full list, see Microsoft codenames); the name "Vista" was unveiled on July 22, 2005.

I like the name Windows Longhorn more than some stupid Vista. :-/

Longhorn strikes a note, while Vista seems like some patch or worse, an operating system for some church or something. :-&

But what's in a name?! Apart from that, this is nothing but Windows XP with newer, sleeker graphics. They've dropped all the features that would have made it a landmark in Windows history. No WinFS, no XML stuff, just some stupid old enhancement packs.
