Setup new team?
Okay, I think you guys should try to actively get new people into the clan, even the core group. As it stands, I see more people in the Alumni section (excluding Anshuman and Deepak) than in the Dynamites list (excluding Pandey Sir & Pankaj Sir). This is not a very healthy situation. I know that for the non-board students this is the final examination time, so what you can do is to spread via word of mouth that the old DynamiX people are gone and the DynamiX brand is represented by new people. Tell them that it means a completely different DynamiX, a more dynamic DynamiX in a matter of speaking. So list of people whom you'd want in the core, and the people whom you'd want to join DX. Sometimes some people use computers quite regularly, know some stuff about it, but aren't quite technical people.. programmers, gamers etc. They form a very valuable portion of the non-core group as they can be trusted to handle computers during events, and otherwise too.
Also, try to get more people as they join the clan to join the blog too. The idea of the blog is NOT to publish Firefox tips and tricks and be a general entertainment forum, but to be a means of talking to the clan. The tips and tricks, tech news etc are just means to keep the blog alive when the activity level is low (like during exams.. now). Talk to and reach out to as many people as you can in the school.

Yeah, try to summon as many Lords and Dukes, as possible.
I have already been working on this since mmmm..... past 3-4 months. I knew that the Alumni section will have more names than the regular Dynamites list. I have talked to many many a people of my present 11th batch and I have convinced them too to join the Dynamix club next year.
I don't know whether they are technical people or not, but yes they will be joining Dynamix next year. Over-crowding, to use the right term.
Don't worry, after looking at the new faces wishing to join the clan at the start of the year, I will be talking to them, classifying them into tech and non-tech people. Some of them will be granted the entry into this blog too. All depends on their experiance with the computers.
One thing that Shashank, I didn't understood about you is that how could we can add members to the core committee? It consists of some trusted members which I don't think a 3 or 4 day old can be.
Rest depends on future.

mr.razdan..i don't agree wid u dat u 've called many students frm ur batch *present 11th* ( 'n u don't know whether they r tech or non-tech ppl)..next yr ,there 'll b many volunteers coming up to join DX.So,there is no need of inviting neone else frm senior classes, specially of whom u r not sure abt. Frm my personal experience,DX is most preferable 'club'.Many students of my present 9th class are already interested in joining DX CLUB nxt yr. MR.ANDERSON IS NOW KNOWN AS BLUFFMASTER FOR TIME BEING.
* I am not pushing them into joining this clan. I've just told the whole idea of DynamiX to them and most of them have agreed. And as Shashank has already said, even non-tech people know or can be taught how to fiddle with the computers during an event or so.
* Now talking about the "preferable-club", yes agreed Dynamix is the one, but many of the students joining the club are non-serious ones(Dynamites-List is the testimony). By explaining them Dynamix, I am into the process of infusing the romance of computers in them so that they also whole heartedly join us.

Agreed, but Sid, where is the junior class? We need people from senior classes, but not for the reason of age seniority, but for a little more responsibility with jobs/tasks alloted. In the field of IT, age is only in terms of skill. I know a few juniors (to you) who are elder to most of your batchmates in terms of skill.
I'm not asking you to ignore senior classes, and since you've already talked to senior students, leave them alone for some time to figure out. If they're truly serious about DX they will come to us in the next sesssion without too much effort from us. Yes, we will advertise and promote DX, but people who're genuinely interested will come on their own.
Start from class 7, and recruit about 1-2 people from each section. I'm sure there will be atleast that many talented people in each section. Agreed that it's easier to talk to your own friends (DX initially started with only a few from 11 A, and Rahul Seth from 11C.. he's the co-founder), but we HAVE to reach out to everyone, since its only with fresh talent that we can continue to improve and ensure continuity of DX. Training new people and non-techs is fine, but DX is essentially a clan of technical people, and honestly speaking the trainees are not really members of DX. DX trains people that's one activity of DX. So we should as a priority be looking out for talents who already are good, and can be guided by us to reach excellence. We also take in non-techs to train them. And I, for the nth time, quote Kislay Pandey of (current) 7C who can beat most of the DX clan and senior classes in action games. That's the type I'm talking about.
To recruit them, we can conduct talent search competitions, like FragFest for games etc. Or we can go to each class and take a list of interested people and interview them individually. We did that while forming DX. Its a long and ardous task, but really pays off.

Well we'll know if they're bluffing in the interviews won't we? The interview thing works, DX was formed using that method.
