Google merges Gmail with Chat.

--
Sweet!

Google was set to launch Gmail Chat on Monday, which will let users send instant messages with one click from their e-mail account, see when contacts are online and save the chat history like an e-mail message, reports CNet. Gmail Chat is available on Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher, and Firefox 1.0 and higher, and in the US English interface only. While the chat functions of Google Talk are integrated into Gmail, users must download the Google Talk client application to make voice calls.

Microsoft...if your thinking. Stop thinking..MS still has more users than GMail on its messenger service alone. Competition has started, but as you see they are not scared, they are offering their services to the best they can..Just got Windows Live Mail. Pretty neat interface with no ads.

But G is the king. And the clarity of its VOIP is more than just amazing..

are they, you serious?

And frankly Microsoft is scared, First of all Gmail took a large popularity cuz of its user friendly and secure.

Second Firefox jumped out of nowhere and kicked IEexplorer.

Then Gtalk, 40% of msn users started using it by 2nd month.

Msn tried everything google had already done.

if u say they are not scared then you are prolly misleaded by someone.

I say Msn is dead, nobody uses it

I disagree with you on the "Nobody Uses MSN" statement. Infact, many use MSN.
