Dynamix Notes Updated
Few modifications which this blog has gone through are as follows
* Header changed
* Links Section touched
* List of names of Dynamites, arranged in the alphabetical order
* Alumni Section Created (Very soon we'll be needing that)
* Added an Headline Animator
And with these changes, I mark myself as the new/additional administrator of this blog(No show-off intended).
Comments and Suggestions are welcomed regarding these changes.

Remove the Headline Animator. We don't need it.
Recent changes, carried out by me, can be un-done by the previous administrator(s), if they find it not worthy of Dynamix-Notes. No need to ask or tell me. Only informing is sufficient.

I appreciate the rest of the three changes, especially the Alumni section. Though I wonder what is meant by the emphasization of certain names in the list of members.
The feedburner is not neccessary as people can see a list of previous posts by scrolling down just about 300 pixels.
ya the chages are fine, except for the few.
like:
1) remove the feedburner
2) no highlighting of members (all same)
3) add link to the ramjas yahoo gtour to both the blogs.
4) Try to add names of new recruit(the list shashank made with Levels)
not on the main page. (but with Levels)
cud put a link to that on the main page and keep updating it regularly as new recruit come to the clan.
Rest is fine ;-)
keep it alive.

Note: Highlighted names are those of the administrators.
Ok, I also feel that there should be some other way of emphasisation of admin names because the current way gives the impression as if the section shows the active names in bold and dead names in normal. If you see other blogs, names of the admin and moderators appear as admin when they post a message, saying it was posted by an admin, and the name is not highlighted otherwise. I feel something like that should be done here also.
Why is an issue as innocuous as highlighting of certain members' name attracting so much attention? Let Razdan play around with the Template Code for a while.
Let me make some points clear.
* By highlighting the names of some(the administrators), I have given them the extra attention which has been questioned by those, who had not been "bold-and-italiced". And thats common human psychology. Nobody wants to be the average-one. Also, in a clan like Dynamix where there are no ego-boosting titles such are president and so, un-necessarily highlighting administrators names conveys their authority on the blog which is a damn wrong thing for some of the readers. My message -> Don't worry friends(non-administrators), I will remove the HTML codes which, by unfair means brings us fame.
* Anderson has written in the Tag-Board that the recent changes were not required. Right. Even I agree that the recent changes were not required(except the header, I think, and the Alumni saction too), but as written earlier, I wanted to mark my presense as an admin, and more importantly, indirectly wanted to inform the previous administrator(s) that the new people they have chosen to look after this blog, do know something about the subject. Although its an easy affair(updating and moderating), it was my way of assuring both of them.

And please, let me play with the template for a while :-)
Its exciting to get a bunch of some lovely and some rather biteful comments.

thnks for clarification mr.razdan..but playing wid template editor for the sake of recieving 'lovely and some rather biteful comments' is not acceptable.'n i think mr.razdan is not new to blogger or "html".
'n in alumni section some famous names r missing.for eg. Prashanth kashyap, Devang Pandey. Both of them ver responsible for setting up intel lab in our school.Mr. kashyap recently visited our school i think on wednesday i.e 25.01.2006. there are many more ex-students of our school(whom i know)are doing their graduation in computers frm highly reputed colleges.
-> Yes of course Tarun, I am not new to blogger or HTML. Rather, I have been the administrator of few blogs for quite some time now.
-> I am not doing the modifications JUST for comments. I am trying to shake up the things at Dynamix-Notes.
-> "The Dynamites..." & "Alumni" section contains the list of the tech-people who are the members of this blog. No other parties allowed.
-> Thank you for your concern(No sarcasm intended!).
-> Which club are you from? I have found an excellent blogger amongst us(its you). How about joining this club next year? Or if you are already a member of the club Dynamix, how about joining this blog now?

One very important thing I learnt today. Language matters the MOST. Like I used some mischievious-kinda language and Tarun immidiately fired on me.

I support and appreciate Razdan's decisions, atleast at the present. As it is, I am always there to watch and correct anything which out of order or hampering the WebLog Administrator/Moderator Guidelines.
Hey beware everone...Big Brother's watchin'!! :)
And its our privilege that the big brother is watching ;-)

thnks mr.razdan.Ya,sure i'm ready to join DX blog.i'm already the member of DX club.U can see my name in-http://ramjasrkp.com/dynamix/recList.htm.Again,thnks for the clarification Mr.Razdan.I just wrote-"i think mr.razdan is not new to blogger or "html"." to make my point more appealing.
Yeah, its good to see people coming forward and wanting to take initiative in doing stuff.
The Alumni section contains those names that have somehow managed (by either party's initiative) come into contact with us and have joined the blog by accepting the invitation mail sent by Blogger. In no way does the Alumni section seek to point out *important* people. My generation, the one that started DynamiX would probably not have started DX if the Intel Lab wasn't there, 'coz I remember I used to hang out at the Intel Lab since class 7, when the Intel Lab was just getting up and running, and it was there that I, Rahul Seth & Roshan got the idea to start DX. So Alumni section is not to say that Anshuman or Deepak Gupta are more important than the others, they just happened to be in contact.
As I said, change is the essence of progress, hence let Sid play around. Its not like he's going around making the blog with Comic Sans text, yellow background and bright green text is he? ;-) Or putting Yellow smiling faces everywhere saying "Smile!".
