Ghosh and Gupta are not Dynamites. They are Ramjas School Alumni.

I have seen the other Dynamites post ocassionally, but I think when no one else is ready to shoulder the responsibility of keeping the blog alive, you yourself have to work on it.

Even for those who want to post, I suggest that you don't post the usual crap (jokes, etc.) but rather which is relevant, like, Some school's symposium, some other event / competition (technological), and occassionaly when the blog seems dead (like no one has posted for 1-2 weeks), some interesting Tech News should be posted.

I don't want amateur crap like "Some Facts About Bruce Lee" posted on the DynamiX Clan Web-Log, it will be removed.

I agree with each word of Ayush. But I also agree with some parts of Siddharth's post. While some people are not really under obligation to post here (such as our Alumni and our two teacher mentors), the others should post occasionally. I mean, everyone has a brain, everyone can get ideas. Why doesn't anyone request for a workshop? A single class (A vs B vs C sections) competition? Why doesn't anyone come up with some brilliant ideas? I know I've prohibhited everyone from discussing DynamiX event stuff on the blog, but there are loads of other things that DX *CAN* do. I agree that one recent event was a major flop (how about doing it once more.. in a complete planned way (2 weeks planning) this time?!) but that does not mean that we're incapable of organizing events. I'll state the reason for the flop event: Lack of preparation time & inability to get students to show up for events on time. Fix that, and we can organize any event properly. Everyone can come up with ideas for DynamiX. Not just me or 2-3 other people. In that sense, Ayush's T-Shirt idea is very good, since it got the club working on something. Even in the planning of DynamiX event, I have barely recieved any inputs from anyone. Just 2 or 3 people have given me some minor ideas, but c'mon! This is your club! More so now, since a lot of us are leaving pretty soon. Siddharth, why don't you give some ideas for DynamiX to undertake?

I did request for a workshop before the holidays (remember I said something about a graphics workshop)but it led nowhere.
About that A VS B VS C Competition,Its exactly what has been on my mind for a while now.I propose that we host a comp quiz between classes VI to VIII(one batch) and classes IX to XIII(another batch)after the exams. The teams will be divided sectionwise like in team A there will be a person from IXA,XA,XIA,XIIA each and so on.There will be no prelims, no finals only one single straightforward round during which the ultimate winning team will be decided.
The reason for me not proposing this idea before was that after the utter failiure of fragfest I had begun to umm..
doubt the organizational capabilities of our clan. But it seems from your post that we aren't down and out yet.We really should redeem ourselves.
So...is anybody game for my idea?

ps:BTW did you guys have a meeting on 31st?

I wanted to hold a meeting regarding our departments, but I barely managed to escape alive from all the mishaps that occured. I was supposed to have a Phy retest as my teacher lost my copy, and I could have given it in some other period, but then we found out that we had some stupid lung-disease checkup camp IN THE ZERO PERIOD. So it was like Devil & the Deep Sea. And I also had a lot of trouble from Gilani Ma'am for missing her class.. anyway. No meeting again! This is stupid.

OK, I remember your workshop suggestion, we can hold it after our exams.. and after DX 2005. Why don't you & Ayush give me a proper detailed plan for it? We've learnt a lesson that we can't be mavericks and conduct events off hand. So I need a plan with all details.

About the quiz, yes. Its exactly what the quizzing dept. is supposed to do immediately after formation. This would have been brought out yesterday itself if there hadn't been...

Any more ideas anyone? Good job Uma.
