Hi all! We got to know about a really interesting contest, The Imagine Cup. Check out their site on: Imagine CUP It's got a number of really interesting events such as Visual Gaming, which is something like AI-development. Here's what their site says about it:

"You are in-charge of programming the strategy and the behaviour of a team of microscopic robots (nanobots), to save Prof. Hoshimi. Different kinds of nanobots (nano-needles, nano-collector, nano-AI and more) live inside the body of the prof and travel through his blood vessels.

To accomplish your mission, you'll need to download a software dev kit (aka "Project Hoshimi files") that contains the game engine, sample projects, documentation and tutorials. The tutorial level I will guide you step by step in the creation of your first artificial intelligence that controls your team of nanobots. Following it will qualify you for Round 2."
